Yeah, you heard me! After a slight delay, the Cartoon Marathon is back on!

In fact, it's going on Right Now!

In the spirit of comics and good cartoons, get yourself over to the HoA Presents! page at Livestream for some classic Public Domain cartoon-y goodness. = )

So drop by, kick back and enjoy some of Fleischer/Famous Studios finest cartoons. You'll be happy you did. = )

Free Comic Book Day 2010

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
It's coming! O.O

One more day folks! Saturday, May 1st - and it's one of my favorite holidays of the year. Free Comic Book Day, the day when all of the little comic book boys and girls grab their non-comics reading friends/family members and hit up their favorite comic shops for some free comics (and to pick up what they forgot to get on Wednesday).

This year's selection is looking pretty good. With any luck, I'll get to the shops before things run out. Here are a couple I'm gunning for:

- MOUSE GUARD/FRAGGLE ROCK

- YOW! The John Stanley Library

- SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

- WORLDS OF ASPEN

- ATOMIC ROBO AND FRIENDS

- THE STUFF OF LEGEND: MORTAL INSTRUMENTS

- OWLY AND FRIENDS

- ARTIFACTS: FIRST LOOK

In all likelihood, I'll grab two or three of these. Top three are Mouse Guard/Fraggle Rock, Atomic Robo and Friends, and Stuff of Legend. As always, I don't just run in for the freebies and leave. No no... I drop in a buy my fair share of books, too. As sad as it sounds considering how much I dig his work, I have yet to find or pick up a copy of Aaron A.'s Serenity Rose Volume 2.

Once you've picked up your fair share of comic book awesomeness, don't forget to drop by and watch some old 40's Superman Cartoons. = )

'Till next time!

Success!

Saturday night's Random Midnight Movie Marathon was great! A big thanks to all who stopped by to watch and joined in on the chat. = )

I think the next event will be a 1940's Superman cartoon marathon on Free Comic Book Day. Which means... this Saturday if I'm remembering my important comic book-related dates right.

Again, thanks to all who dropped by! = )
