I warn you, this was an experiment with what could best be called a Quiet comic - one with little to no words it it. I know it feels a bit thin (especially after all that time waiting) but roll with me on this. The trick I'm trying to figure out is what is the critical mass for text in a comic strip. How much acting can I put into three or four panels and how many extras (text or straight punctuation) would I need to get the joke across effectively?

After I finished this, I took stock of today's strip and I know I still have a long way to go with the idea. I think it can be done but, for now, don't have the enough of the visual vocabulary needed to do it. In time, maybe. For now, not so much. But that's the fun of making comics. Try it and see if it works. If not, rethink and try again at a later date. = )
