Oh yes! It's Cyber Monday and I'm just now getting around to posting something that should have gone up a week ago. = D

You remember The Biff Shop @ Zazzle, right? That fantastic place online where you can get all the fun little t-shirts, posters, mugs and whatnot? Well... you can now snag yourself a neat little two-sided pillow! -> [PillowTastic!]

Bonus: Seeing as it's Zazzle, they've got a special Cyber Monday discount code for you with a litany of different amounts off their entire line-up of products. Probably the best deals you'll see 'till mid-way into December. Not too shabby, folks!

I've got some more inking to do before my back goes all wonky on me again. 'Till next time! = D

A Temporary Delay

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
The power has been back up - fully powered and stable - here at the House of Amill for a few days now. We got heat and a solid 'Net connection, too. Though both Sunday and Wednesday have passed, I am working to get something up for a final comic for this bit o' story.

I'd have something up right now if I wasn't having second thoughts on the script. As I've mentioned before, I like to have a script buffer. This usually means that I have these things written weeks (sometimes months) before I ever put pencil to paper on the actual comic. This helps me in two ways:

1) I can write a good chunk of story or one-off gags over the course of a night vs. making a single strip in six to eight hours.

2) I can let the jokes marinate until I want to use them. This gives me a chance to see if it really holds up or it was just funny at the time.

This particular strip is proving to be more "Funny at the Time" than actually "Funny". In fact, reading it now that it's time to draw it is proving more confusing than funny. Never a good thing. I'd fire my writer but I told myself I'd be damned if I let me push myself around. = P

Quick Recap: Things are back to normal here. The script for the next strip is irreparably confusing so it was sacked. I'm working on writing a better ending and I'll post some fresh Silly Vamp goodness once it's done.

'Till next time! = )

Down but Not Out (Sorta')

What? You think a mighty wind was going to stop me from posting the comic? Well... If it was last night you'd be right. It was mighty, after all.

Sandy has died down. My yard is a mess but we're all safe here at the House of Amill. Partial power, hot water, no solid 'Net connection as of yet. I'm coming to you from my not-so-smart phone to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. = )

Not sure when things will even out. We're hobbled here but others are downright crippled by downed trees and lines. Once they get on their feet, my town'll be back up and so will Biff. To those on the East Coast: Stay warm, stay safe and keep your head up!

'Till next time! = )
