Comic will go live later

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
Instead of trying to pull a rush job on the last strip of this little bit of story or post an Off-Sides right at the end, I decided to hold off for now and simply work on it later. I got caught up in other work today (and last night) but it does pertain to Biff.

Wanna' see? = )

[LinkTastic!]

Yeah... it's almost done and everything looks to be on track for an anniversary launch. Just have a few kinks to work out of the system, build some extras and prepare for it to go live. Hence the no comic tonight. I will work on it tomorrow and I'm pushing for it to either go up late Wednesday or insanely early Thursday. Not sure what or if there will be a strip on Sunday yet but I do want to close this little bit of story out soon.

'Till next time! = )

And yet more snow falls

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
Seriously. I'm looking out my window and watching more snow falling (and sticking). The wind is enough to push through the slight cracks around the window. It's not as bad as before but yeah... I think I'm good with the slick streets and the shoveling for a couple of months now. o.@

Anyhoo! On to happier news!

I put though an order on Friday for a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet and a compatible stylus. After much fretting, saving and research; I bit the bullet and bought it. The stylus is set to arrive around the first week of March. The tablet should (hopefully) make it here around the same time or sooner. It's not the fun $1000+ convertible laptops running windows. It's actually the Android tablet Lenovo put out a couple of years ago with a very nice pressure-sensitive stylus. Thanks to a great deal at their outlet store, it fell well within my budget of under $400.

The reason that put it over my other final option - a Motion Computing LE1700 - was ultimately its size. It's about equal to my existing sketchbook, an object I hold near and dear to me and have on my person just about everywhere I go. The LE1700, though a fantastic machine, just felt too large for my current purposes. I still want one as it's a proper Tablet PC running Windows and pretty much a laptop without a keyboard. Plus, the Flexdock thing for it looks like it'd make it into something that would work more as a desktop replacement than a machine I'd carry around with me.

Here's hoping this doesn't turn into another iPod Touch situation and I end up with another neat yet expensive toy.

'Till next time! = )
