The 'Net is Strong with this one...

Huzzah! The fates are smiling and the demons have been paid off. How can I tell? I'm both at my computer And I have a strong enough 'Net Connection to post this (and get things done). = D

Anyhoo! It's fairly late in the game for a fresh post (the new strip will post soon) but I'm dropping this anyway 'cause it's to help folks out and show some love to their projects.

Here we go!

- 'The Webcomics Handbook' Kickstarter:

Brad Guigar (Creator of Evil Inc.) has made the improbable possible... a spiritual sequel to 'How to Make Webcomics'. It will cover some of the stuff the older book covered but it will contain a bunch of new info covering subjects like Digital Downloads and how to setup ad networks. It's all the goodness of Webcomics.com distilled into book form. 'How to Make Webcomics' is still a go-to for me. I'm sure this will become just as valuable. = )

- 'The Sleep of Reason: An Anthology of Horror' Kickstarter:

I've been waiting for this to drop for a while now. I'm a fan of horror. I'm also a fan of comics. This is the best of both worlds. 360-page black-and-white anthology of horror comics from an unholy crapton of fantstic creators. From KC Green and Randy Milholland to Der-shing Helmer and Savannah Horrocks. Needless to say, this should make for one interesting book of horror. = )

- 'Digger Omnibus' Kickstarter:

Ursula Vernon, creator of works like the Dragonbreath book series and the webcomic 'Irrational Fears', is raising funds to print a massive omnibus version of her Hugo Award winning comic 'Digger'. I Loved this comic to death back in the day and (along with 'Irrational Fears') I still go back and read it from time to time. It's fantastic and something I'd recommend folks read through and show some love for if you can. = )

That's it for now. Expect these getting showing up again in another post soon. For now, I'm off to finish the strip and hope my 'Net connection doesn't drop to nothing before I get things done.

'Till next time! = D

'Net connection is on the fritz tonight.

I'm gathering links for a big ol' "Support some badass projects" post but my 'Net connection seems to be on the fritz. Instead of fighting it, I'll just drop a post later.

For now, I'm off to grab some allergy meds and reset my router. = P
