Got wrapped up in a couple of computer jobs. One was an OS upgrade. Not terrible but it did eat quite a bit of time. Why Microsoft never made a 'Service Pack 2' for Win7 is beyond me. When you see 200+ non-Language Pack updates being installed in a single go, that's when you wonder what the folks at the home office are doing with their time.

The second happened all of a sudden Monday Night/Tuesday Morning. My Ma's laptop started doing a lovely beep code. A beep code that, once looked up, meant something on the board had just died. I spent the next few days fixing up a laptop, recovering some files, installing everything and hoping all this work wasn't for nothing as I moved the old info over. The laptop's HDD was good but it wasn't going to be popped into the new laptop without a fight.

This left me with no time for comics. -.-

On a Happy Note: I found out that the Spirit Halloween shop I hit up had something I've wanted since I was a little kid - an officially licensed He-Man Power Sword!

It now sits proudly over my closet door. I hope to get back out to that shop again as they also have She-Ra's Sword of Protection. I want to get that one so I can cross them and be the big ol' geeky MotU fan that I am. = )

After spending some time on it, I've decided to go with 'The Bat' and 'The Last Man on Earth' for the next Midnight Movie Marathon. Two Vincent Price films 'cause he rocks. Still need to draw up this year's parody movie poster. I Might just start that one tonight.
