How about that post, yeah?

Ha HA! Missed an update. -.-

The next strip is a double-decker - something I'd normally take a week to do anyway - and it decided to fight me quite a bit. As of my writing this, I got the top strip nearly penciled. I was hoping to have both of them set for inks at the very least but Nope! Something about the first half just wasn't coming together.

Another thing that's bugging me is I posted an explanation of this situation on Facebook two nights ago. Normally, this would post over to the strip's Twitter feed (aka - How I set it up) but that post never made the trip apparently. This is something I'll take care of later.

Not to leave this as an all "Doom and Gloom" post, here's a look at a sketch I started a few days back while doing laundry. -> [Sketch LinkTastic!]

Here's hoping I can get this strip done and posted by Wednesday at the latest! I Can Do It! >.<

FCBD 2016 Haul

The downside of doing once-a-week updates is I tend to forget to do news posts over here.

As many might have known, the first Saturday in May is 'Free Comic Book Day'. For the past 15 years, it's allowed me to do fun stuff like help introduce (or re-introduce) folks to comics. This year was no different. Some of the free titles were nice all-ages/kid-friendly books like Sonic, SpongeBob and Pokemon - books I picked up for my nephews which they seems to have really dug.

For myself, I snagged a copy of Otis Frampton's 'Oddly Normal' (a book I've been meaning to get into for quite some time now) and a copy of the latest incarnation of 'Rom, The Space Knight'. Another thing I do is I make it a point to buy from the shops I hit up for FCBD titles. After all, that's part of the reason the day was invented - to get butts back into stores and entice folks who might otherwise not drop in to come shop for a bit. I went overboard a bit and picked up the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl comics I was missing.

You might be wondering why I'm not going on about the comics like I normally would. Well... I haven't been able to get to them yet. They sit waiting for later (and probably tomorrow) for me to burn through them like I always do. = )

Now to pop out, grab some grub and maybe read some comics while I do so.

'Till next time! = )
