As you may have noticed, this strip has been pretty much stuck in 'Once a Week' mode for far too long. This is entirely on me. -.-
I've tired pushing through it, holding the strip 'till Wednesdays instead of Sundays, trying my best to just hunker down and work and... yeah. Here we are. So! I've got some family stuff happening soon so I'm going to just chill for a bit.
By "Chill", I mean not stress about the strip as much and take an honest break from drawing them. Forcing stories and shortening things down to once a week are patches at their worst. I need to take an actual break where I'm not sitting there with friends or family going "I should be drawing the next update" instead of just enjoying the moment.
What does this mean? It means I can take a hot minute and maybe make some new products, work on some Monster Girls or maybe even get more writing done. It also means I'm going to make an active attempt at relaxing for a while. Notice how I'm still planning on doing work - possibly even Biff-related work - just not the comic. I think the other thing I need is essentially a change of topic. That Silver Bullet design is a perfect example and a reason I'm thinking this is the better option.
That design went from a thing I needed to do to a thing I spent the entire night completely absorbed in. Took me a while to get into the groove for the comic but that design? I forgot time existed. That's a good sign I should probably step away from the strip for a minute and get this other stuff out of my system.
Fear not! You'll still know abou it and it probably won't be for very long. I have a story bit I like and I'm not going to let that go to waste. I'll just let it sit a spell and
'Till next time! = )
