The racing is still the same as always but the two new tracks are more fun than I expected. I found myself actually worrying about folks coming up quick on me at the last minute on both Shining Sands and Haakon Precipice. There's been a bit of a learning curve, too, as I'm still getting used to running tracks with a PS4 controller instead of my old 360 controller. It's very much a muscle memory thing and I've found myself more than once trying to pull off moves that can't happen 'cause of button placements.

One of the things I am diggin' is the little extras this time around. Since SRL is now part of a larger seasonal event called 'The Dawning', there's other stuff to do. Stuff like revamped strikes and random gear to grind for. Thanks to some surprise PlayStation funds, I landed myself a full set of the special Dawning hunter armor set. Bonus: I got this set within 10 Dawning treasures, of which I had only bought six (approx. $10 worth of Silver) so the drop rates are Way better than what I saw with the Taken gear set way back when.

I plan on doing some more streams while I can. Next one will be sometime today (Friday, Dec 16, 2016) and I'll get some of that sweet sweet Sparrow Racing in.
