After a weekend of leaks from foreign game shops, Bungie officially announced Destiny 2. And on the eve of their last big in-game event, no less! o.O

As a fan of the game, I'm hoping some of the other rumors are true. Namely the release date being later in the year and the Cayde-6 pre-order bonus toy. Rarely do I get the chance to get in on a pre-order for something, nevermind it being something with a bonus toy.

In a few hours (from the original posting of this), I'll be knee deep in collecting new gear and generally making a complete and utter fool of myself in the updated Crota raid. My hope is the visuals will filter down to the non-challenge versions as well 'cause I'm neither skilled nor crazy enough to go that alone.

One thing you can be certain of is I'm going to spend the rest of tonight on the next strip. Not so much to get it posted for Wednesday (although that would totally rock) but just so I can be sure I'll have it started before I fall into the hole that is Destiny.
