Me? I got the strip up mere minutes before the ball dropped in my timezone. I actually pulled it off! Then I spent the rest of the night fixing things 'cause the date might have changed but the problems stayed the same.

- Baked a nice banana bread... that came out a Little toasty. Miscalculated how much sugar would be added by the banana I tossed in so the normally caramel-colored top got a little burnt. Still tastes great, though!

- Old steam heaters are either leaking like mad or throwing out so much heat you could boil eggs on them. That is unfortunately a problem best handled during the daytime by someone with more experience than I in dealing with plumbing.

- Cable box decided to stop sending a signal through HDMI. At least That was an easy fix. Did a hard reboot (read: Unplugged the dang thing) and all was well.

Now that this story bit is done, I can rest for a hot minute and work on scripts again. Thanks to the holidays and all that, I couldn't write much. At least now I can do it without having the end of a story hanging over me. = )

I'll post an Off-Sides later in the week for an official announcement. For now, I'm going to try to not get cooked by my heater as I turn it down a bit more. I can at least reach the one in my room well enough to do something about it.
