Working on Digital Doodles | |
- - |
This is a bit of a follow-up on the last strip's News post.
I decided to take the Magic Dance lines I mentioned and drop them on a bit of a background. You can see it here. -> [Art LinkTastic!]
I've tried this before with another set of digital lines a while ago on a Time Mage Moogle pic. That, too, is in my personal devArt here. -> [Art LinkTastic, Kupo!]
I like the idea of these particular pics living in an old book. Like you'd come across them in some ancient tome of magic or a long forgot bestiary. It's something that I'm thinking of working further and keeping as their backgrounds once I finish the colors on them. Especially the moogle one. But that's less because of the style choice and more because it fits the whole thing of it being a character from the Final Fantasy Tactics series. They had a promo stuff that looked like a worn old book and in-game visuals that further hit that design choice home.
That's pretty much the best I got right now for a news post. I'm working far enough ahead that I can't really tease anything. Even stuff that wouldn't be considered spoiler-y would just be "Hey! I'm working on [REDACTED] that you won't see for like a month or so but Yeah! You're gonna' love it!" assuming folks remember it. = P
And with that, I'm out. There's a piece of leftover Valentine's Day cake with my name on it.
'Till next time! = )
