Well folks, Free Comic Book Day 2009 has come and gone. Being the comic book fan that I am, I hit up a couple places to get my share of FCBD books. Not as many as I would have liked, mind you but I got up fairly late this time. As sad as it sounds, I was like a kid hopped up for Christmas and I just couldn't sleep. = P
I did get a couple of books this year. I snagged a copy of Blackest Night #0 for a friend and a G.I. Joe issue as a gift for another friend. As always, I walked out of the places I went to for FCBD with about ten bucks worth of bought books. It's really a happy habit of mine - I can't walk out of a comic shop on FCBD without buying something. = )
It was good though my lateness made the pickings fairly slim. Good to get to the shops again as I've had to be very conservative on my comics as of late. Maybe next year I'll try to get some free print Biff stuff out there for folks to snag and enjoy.
A man can dream, right? = )
