Updates Incoming!

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
If you've read the Twitter feed or swung past the Facebook page, you know that I'm going to be a bit late on the next update 'cause I'm working on some older Biff stuff.

Here's the deal: I got a letter from ComiXology saying I need to fix some strips in Vol.2. Seems some strips picked up too many artifacts and can't be used for their purposes. This email came in on like Wednesday night/Thursday morning. At first, I tried to pick out the few where I can see some less-than-awesome digital bits and erasing said bits.

This was a horrible idea. -.-

Instead, I pulled out my old strip book - the one that makes up Vol.2 - and just started to rescan them using the same methods I use on strips today. I touch up what needs touching up (erasing stray graphite or redoing the spot blacks) and scan it in new using my newer methods. I mean... These strips were originally scanned like 5 or 6 years ago. I've changed up just about everything I do digitally since them.

Since the only thing changing is the lineart, not the text or tones, it's going faster than when I put the book together the first time around.

Two things are coming out of this work! One is cleaner artwork in a revised version of Vol.2. I'll post info on how those who've already bought it can get it from me. The second thing is I'm going to add that cleaner artwork to the archive 'cause... well, makes more sense to actually pop up this stuff here and not just keep it to myself or those who buy the books.

Although I can't promise that I'll do the same for Vol.1 or Vol.3, I can say that it is something I'm thinking about. Perhaps as a goal in that Patreon thingie I've been thinking about for a bit.

Anyhoo! I'm going to spend a bit more time on the actual update before I hit the old stuff again.

'Till next time! = )

What time is it? = D

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
What? No. It's not "Howdy Doody Time". o.O

No... it's time for the Mid-Series Suit Change.

For the folks not in the know: It's a common thing for modern Gundam series to have a "Mid-Series Suit Change". It's when the Heroes of the show upgrade their giant battle machines to newer (sometimes larger) and fancier models that you can buy for your toy shelf about halfway through the show's run. Well, it's that time for the Build Fighters crew.

I'm still sweet on the latest Gundam Build Fighters series - Build Fighters TRY. It's a nice show and it's hit that magic halfway point. If you like decent robot battles and don't mind that all the craziness you're seeing is really just a bunch of folks playing with plastic models on the most badass setup imaginable, I recommend you check it out. There's plenty of subbed episodes posted to the official YouTube page so far. [Go Team TRY!]

In other news: I think I've made it through the worst of whatever it was I caught. I feel less cruddy. I'm still sleeping quite a bit but that's probably because of the meds. Let's all hope I can remain somewhat healthy long enough to finish this story bit off. = )

That's about it for now. It's back to the drawing board for me.

'Till next time! = )
