Dancing Sharks! = D

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
I saw the game. It was... a really good game 'till that last Seahawks play. Then it became confusing and random and, although I wanted the Seahawks to win, why did Brady get MVP when Butler literally Saved the Day? Now That was a missed shot right there.

Anyhoo! One thing I did stick around for was this year's Halftime show. Normally I or someone else would change it but it started off interestingly enough and we watched. What a great decision. Not big on Katy but seeing Missy rock out and Katy riding the star from 'The More You Know' with some really great visual effects on stage was well worth the price.

Bonus: We got to see the Real winners of Super Bowl XLIX... the Dancing Sharks. So That's what I spent a short break today drawing up. = ) [Art LinkTastic!]

Enough pop culture. I gotta' get back to drawing. The strip should (hopefully) go up on Wednesday.

Snow?! O.O

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
Indeed, it did! And in an amount that was pretty substantial.

Although the pics of may seem bad, this stuff is like powder. It's deceptive. I was all set for some heavy lifting when I went out to shovel on Tuesday. What I got was a lot of light snow that would break up with a look and made walking with even the best of boots kinda' hazardous. This wasn't ice but I was doing a pretty good imitation of a sweeper in curling there for a while. Just a little momentum and keep moving the shovel around to clear a path 'till you stop. = P

It's nice though. Many expected a storm of the century. What we got was a storm good enough to make snowmen with. I guess there's more on the way but we'll deal with that when it gets here.

Still rescanning strips from Vol.2. These are looking way nicer now than five years ago. I'm using all my tricks to get them in and looking great but it's slow going. Makes me realize that, as someone who uses their system for artwork and whatnot, I should probably save up for more memory. I have what seems like a ton now - 8gigs - but modern OS BS seems to be killing that total really quick. More than once have I had to back out of Fireworks 'cause it's saying I'm out of available memory. Another thing to add to my list of 'Stuff to Get'.

Anyhoo! Time to make some soup, take some Tylenol and get back to work! Next strip is a double decker. Kinda' want to get on that sooner rather than later just in case I'm stuck drawing by candlelight again.

'Till next time! = )
