First piece of business: It's Done! I finished up the pic of Murphy how I wanted it to come out! = D

This thing fought me every step of the way. I lost all my working files from both of my copies of Sketchbook trying to get them to work right. I even had to pop for the Pro Tools pack in the latest version just to get access to all the layers and whatnot. A good purchase since it's a one-time fee and the newest version has some really fun gimmicks that the last version doesn't (like more layer effects options).

Instead of dropping a big ol' pic here, I'll link folks to the Tumblr post I did. - [Art LinkTastic!]

Now for the Main Story...

I'm as surprised by it as many of you are, I assure you. = )

As promised, you can now find cleaned up versions of strips No.1 through No.54 live in The Crypt. I'll do this every couple of months with the versions of the strips used in the books 'till I have the entire archive looking as nice as possible.

I'm sure I'll come up with something sappy to write here in due time but I still have some work to do. I'm Really trying to avoid starting this new year off with late strip. = P

Seriously though... Thank you all. Here's to many more years of silly vampire goodness. = )

That Darn Monkey... -.-

Here was the plan:

- Finish old strip updates early.

- Start the next story bit today.

- If time permitted, do a 'Year of the Fire Monkey' pic.

As you can see... yeah. No. -.-

I did get the older strips updated! I'm going to spend some quality time with them before I upload to make sure the file names are all correct and that I haven't missed anything (word bubbles, strange things popping up after I convert to web sizes). Those will go live on Saturday. I also want to get the next story bit started. Not sure when it will go up but it will be soon.

If you're so inclined, I Did upload the high-res scan of Murphy's pencils up to Patreon if you wish to take a whack at it. [Art LinkTastic!]

I'll post a "Finished" version along with the same pencils up to Tumblr later in the week. I put that in quotes 'cause I Really want to know why my trusty Sketchbook Pro app that I paid for before they switched to a subscription-based model doesn't seem to want to work anymore. If I can get that up and running, I'll have a Much nicer color job on him once I have access to more than three layers again. >.<

Anyhoo! This is going to make for an interesting week. I'll see what all I can set up for later as I do want to try some kind of online movie marathon to celebrate. A nice happy start to another year of this crazy journey.

'Till next time! = )
