I'm not one to drop a boatload of hate here but I can't help but feel is a terrible terrible idea.

It has names attached to it like Dan Aykroyd (a very funny guy) and Justin Timberlake (a surprisingly funny guy). I just can't see them playing the roles of Yogi and Boo Boo. I'm trying Really but I can't. I grew up on old Yogi cartoons. Plus, the film has Eric Brevig as the director. His last film of note: Journey to the Center of the Earth - 3-D. That should explain why, instead of a new cartoon movie, we're getting a poorly rendered Yogi and Boo Boo.

As someone who loves those guys and suffered through the likes of Yo Yogi! as a kid, I really wish them well and I hope the movie does well at the box office. I just have that sinking feeling it'll be as bad as The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle or The Cat in the Hat.

Let's hope I'm wrong. -.-
