A Minor Delay... for SCIENCE! | |
- - |
Holy Smokes! This strip is later than I wanted it to be.
Like many science and space fans everywhere, I spent a fair chunk of time (including 7 terrifying minutes) watching a live feed of Curiosity's safe touchdown on the surface of Mars. = )
Seriously... the last time I was that pepped over something science-related, it was when the fine folks at CERN announced the discovery of the Higgs Boson. To give you an idea as to how much I dig this stuff: I turned off the Olympics for this. I even pushed to get the strip posted before the craft hit the atmosphere but I kinda' sorta' accidentally inked the wrong lines in my haste and had to fix things before I popped this one up.
Here's to Curiosity and the fine folks on the Mars Mission team. Congrats on a successful landing! = D
