Can't just leave ya' hangin', can I?

Nope! I can't. Still getting ahead on writing as best as I can. The scripts I have need some serious work but there's traction and a laid out strip template on the drawing table as I type.

This lack of strips hasn't been a total bummer, though. I Did get another Monster Girl drawn recently. A little Rokurokubi to mark off my list of neat yokai to draw. -> [Art LinkTastic!]

Like the Astomi girl I drew back in February, I drew this little yokai completely digitally. I feel I'm getting a little faster on my tablet with every pic. The downside is, with every pic I do on my tablet, I'm taking time away from the strip. The end result of all this will hopefully be a net positive but I still feel kinda' bad that I'm taking away from here to work on something on the side.

Never fear, Silly Vamps! I'm also laying out some very Biff-related goodies that are also stealing time from the strip. I feel Slightly less terrible about that stuff. = P

This new rokurokubi (along with the other ladies I've drawn) can be found at my Monster Girl Master List here. -> [Link]

'Till next time! = )

Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo

No strip today. Still scripting. I want to get ahead a bit before I get back into the thick of things. Get a couple of story bits under my belt before I start back in on the art side of things.

In lieu of a comic, have this Fantastic live-action short from Studio Ghibli that ran before the latest addition to the EVA Rebirth series in theaters. Not only is it crazy cool but it shows off the studio's live-action chops by mixing filmed footage, puppetry and old school miniatures to create its incredible visuals.

Now, it's a quick bit of sleep then back to writing for me. I'm pushing to get a couple of story bits written by Friday and the next story strip up for Sunday.

'Till next time! = )

Little Witch Academia

Remember how, a few weeks back, I mentioned showing a little love toward a project called 'Little Witch Academia' but I didn't drop a link to it? Well, that was because I found it through unofficial channels. Thankfully, the incredible folks at Studio Trigger popped the whole thing on YouTube through their channel And they translated it into English! So... here it is! = D
