An update! = D

So it's not a comic update Yet. It is a situation update, though.

Here's the deal:

- Too damn hot & humid as of late.

Between a weak script and the paper of my strip book being literally puffy from all the water in the air, I've been off my game. Nothing sucks the will to work on things quite like feeling crazy sticky all the time. Add to that a sketchy power system not really allowing for me to run my AC much higher than its lowest setting lest I blow circuits; even a guy like me - someone who mindlessly draws on everything - is less fond of picking up the pencil. With the weather calming down, I should have a fresh baked bit of story up soon. = )

- I hit up ConnectiCon 2013!

Eyup! You can find a proper write-up over on my Tumblr page. -> [Link]

The quick version is I saw a bunch of kickass webcomic folk and bought stuff from them all. I also tried to help out Christopher Paulsen (Creator of 'Precocious' and the one who graciously gave me a spare ticket to attend) at his table! Truthfully... I wanted to help out more than I did but yeah. It's in the report.

- I'm doing more website work.

I love you folks to death but... the strip doesn't pay the bills just yet. That means I still need to work other projects. Thanks to the less-than-lovely weather killing my will to draw, it was a welcomed respite from sitting at my drawing desk hoping that I could will a strip into existence without actually drawing it. -.-

For now, I'm back to working on my client's stuff. I have the seed of a good idea thanks to my friend that I'll get fleshed out later tonight. Like I said previously, I want to do another bit of story instead of simply blowing through my backlog of 'Asks'. They may be fun but they are just notch beyond filler strips.

'Till next time! = )

New Mickey Mouse Short! = D

Hell yeah! I love that Disney is doing new Mickey shorts. I just love that the design is inspired by the old Iwerks style. Here's the latest short straight from the source titled "No Service". = )

No Service on Disney Video

Back to the grind for me. Got another bit of story coming up next, then I'll drop a couple of "Asks".

'Till next time! = D
