SO! Funny story...
Couldn't get my firewall back. No matter what I tried, I couldn't restart the processes that control the firewall in Win10. They absolutely did not want to run. Turns out, the firewall is somehow tied to the app store. In trying to get one to work, they both failed to a point where I felt the best route would be to simply do a Clean Install. Again, having everything backed up like I always do kinda' helped this out a bit.
Now... The install went smoothly. I've been relatively lucky with this OS in that it didn't take a day to get things going and simple actions haven't lead to massive meltdowns. The only thing I didn't take into account was the time it takes to reinstall programs and move files/settings/old downloads back over. I've had on my Art desk the next strip, barely touched with a few hours to go for the pencils alone, for the past three days. I Swear I'm not ignoring it. I Will get back to it.
It'll drop when it drops. Hopefully sooner rather than later (thanks to saving all my settings for my programs!).
Not one to leave folks hanging for too long, have a Flatwoods Monster girl looking into a shop window! -> [Art LinkTastic!]

Seriously. One of those three fake movie posters is for an Actual film idea that's being shopped around right now. o.O
On a Lighter Note: I looked up the last time I officially used this guy in a strip. I thought it was only a few strips ago, right. He's kinda' the prototype for the background characters I use often enough but I know I use him in particular recently... 03.20.2011 - Turn Off the Dark
Yeah! Been a minute.
It's moments like this that I forget I've been doing this comic thing for a while and what I might think is a few strips is probably years thanks to my update schedule. o.o
Anyhoo! I got one more one-shot to write up before I'll jump into the next story bit. I like how it came out so far but, like everyone I do, I'll probably change things up as I'm working on it. It's rare any of the strips I make keep the text I wrote exactly how I wrote it. Things almost always end up better in the end. = )
That said, It's time for me to grab a hot chocolate and get back to writing!
'Till next time! = )
