Here's the long and short of it real quick:

- The strip is coming along Slowly.

No better way to say it. After a month's worth of time, I have a grand total of Two strips done and ready to go. I'd normally have four. It's just... yeah! Yeah. -.-

- Things have been Hectic.

Shortly after I went to take a break from posting, things have been all sorts of hectic. On the light side, there's been issues with the heat. One the heavier side... our old radiator-style steam heaters overflowed. Like, the boiler backed up and sent water up the steam pipes 'till our radiators physically leaked.

It's been like that.

- Things have been Good.

Despite the issues, things are looking up. Thanks to the Black Friday/Shop Small Saturday/Wallet Burning Sunday/Cyber Monday sales, I finally got something to help with my house's weak internet connection that's been plaguing me for years that I've been trying to patch with cheaper fixes. Instead of getting yet another WiFi signal booster, I got a wireless access point meant for small businesses and stores.

I've been joking about how now the house has to deal with a low grade signal... for a store. = )

So here's the deal... I'm going to keep banging away on the strip in the background. I'll get a Holiday pic up closer to Christmas/New Year's so folks have something fresher to see than my Halloween post. I'm pushing to get the strip back to posting again in January - preferably earlier in the month. This will pretty much depend on if the world let's me be for a hot minute so I can work.

Before I go, I have to address the less-than-awesome digital stuff that's been happening lately involving a certain Paper Rich Tech Guy. I'm not abandoning Twitter any time soon... I kinda' can't 'cause I have to be where the people are.

That said, this has given me the motivation to update my Granddaddy of All Contact Lists. If you're doing the smart thing and setting up shops elsewhere, this is the master list of all the place your can find me and, subsequently, outside updates for the strip.

That's about it for this update. I've got some sleep to catch and, if all goes well, the next update will happen with some manner of artwork to go along with it. = )

I'm TERRIBLE At judging how long a pic will take lately. o.o

Take this one for example!

- Went into this figuring I could bust in out in two days. Not the case!

- Figured I could do this completely digitally. Lost a couple of hours on getting things to look/feel right so I just printed out the poster and traced the elements I really needed to change.

- Spent Way longer fixing things with the original poster than I should have considering I was actively re-drawing it with cartoon critters.

- Got lost in fonts in the last minutes.

So, pretty much the same as every pic like this that I do. = P

Anyhoo! I'm going to let this be my last strip update for a bit. I'm going to work on the rest of the Drawlloween entries and spend some quality time drawing some of the next comics. My goal is to spend a few weeks on things. Probably going to just hold off posting for a month. I Really want to get the rest of the this current story bit finished before I come back. That way I have some time to rest in December and only have to worry about dropping weekly newsposts. = )
