New Newness! = D

Email Me Prophet on Twitter Prophet on Bluesky -
So far this little break of mine hasn't been much of a break at all.

As you can see from the update, I'm posting some stuff about the Newsletter. = )

Here's the deal...

- Buttondown let's me do stuff like have a unique Favicon for the newsletter's page on their site. It's not the fanciest but it works.

- They also let you do a separate image for when you share your links. That's how this little Newsbat came about.

- They have an Archive of past emails. Since it's a different setup from my original service and TinyLetter, I'm going to go through and get the older emails working with this newer setup.

As for things like the website, I have something for folks to test out. I did up a proper Mobile-Friendly version of the next website update. Now... I built the thing so I know it works like I want it to and what all I want to change. That's great and all but it doesn't take into account folks that haven't spent years building and maintaining sites for themselves and others.

If you can, check the following link (Yeah... still have to do it manually unfortunately) and give it a shot. Maybe send any issues/changes/whatnot to my email and I can see if I can make it work.

As for any Actual relaxation... I built that HG Gundvolva, painted it up a bit and realized I'd need to airbrush some stuff. So I MacGyver'd a mini desktop spray booth using a Solder Fume fan, a spray booth filter and a 12" by 8" by 4" cardboard box. It not only works at 2/3rds of the fan's top speed but it's small enough to actually pack away when not in use and not be tripped over.

Yes... doing foolish stuff like that is 100% how I like to relax. = )

Also: Yes. I wore my mask when I tested it out. I have no intentions of slowly coating my lungs with white acrylic primer 'cause I think my weird construction is foolproof or anything. It's good, for sure... but I'd rather not be the fool it proves, ya' know?

I'm off to grab some ice cream and maybe work on some new scripts. My desk is currently occupied by the aforementioned equipment and I have an idea that can't wait 'till I've done the next Story Bit to get down on paper. The joy of doing things that aren't comics every so often.

Remember: Stay Safe. Wear a Mask if you need to. Get vaccinated if you can. Get a booster if you're already good on all that. And remember to keep your head up.

'Till next time! = )
