Amy Permano - resident slime girl and over-eager waitress at Alton's - is back for this this bit of story. Folks who followed my Twitter feed from when I was drawing her first appearance know that she can be a tough one to draw and ink on the regular. Lots of curves, shifting volumes, and spot blacks on her kind of destroy deadlines if I'm not careful.

For all that trouble, she really is fun for me to draw (and write)! Seeing as this is my second round working with her, I know what to expect and I'm going to do my damnedest to stay ahead of the curve this time. No pun intended. = P

Today's comic also marks the first strip in a fresh strip book! Nothing like breaking in the pages by busting out the ol' brush pen for those larger black areas. = )

Time for me to get back to the drawing table. I kinda' want to see how many strips I can set up before I crash out tonight. Surprisingly, it's that simple task of measuring out things and building the bones of the strips that tends to take the most out of me. Always best to get the monotonous work out of the ways as soon as possible.

To my Pokefans - I may have my copy of X on me, it will still be a bit before I can join you on the field of battle!
