Done... for now.

It took a bit but I have this thing pretty well and good for now. I'll mark this as Biff the Vampire Site v1. = )

Let's go down the list of goodies I've added and just what's changed in general:

1) Comics on the Homepage.

I've moved the comics off the Comics page and on to Home. Why? Let's just say I'm taking a cue from many of the webcomics I read. Plus, it makes for a better visual than just the title and date.

2) Navigation is now on the left hand side.

This change was mostly just a visual thing. It was interesting on the right but the page space itself was working. This move lead to...

3) Larger content boxes.

I never was cool with the box size as it truncated things way too often. Now it fills the page out more and is a better use of space.

4) I've added an RSS Feed!

That's right! If you couldn't normally see the comic through the mailing list or you're mail server bounces my mail, you now have something to keep tabs on the comics. You'll also get the benefit of news posts like this one. As for other feed services (iComic, Google, Y!, etc.), I'll address those if/when they come up.

5) Homepage has an Info Box.

Three basic gadgets I felt were cool and needed their own space away from it all. Cons and Such: Same deal as before, only smaller. Mailing List: Again, the mailing list only longer and moved from the nav section. Moon Phase: What can I say? It's a comic about a vampire. It just fits. = P

That's enough from me. Back to the drawing board for the next comic. Expect something cool next week!

As I type, I'm working on site code. Though I don't think anything will go Kablew-y and result in more downtime... expect the unexpected.

Consider this my "Orange Alert" post. Something could go wrong somewhere on the site possibly soon but, when all is said and done, it'll look a little better and you'll have some more options to play with. No forums though... not quite ready for that just yet. = P

New Scanner! = D

'Nuff said, really. = )

Finally got a new scanner and things are looking up and at the best time, no less. This marks the last of The Interview series and the end of the first story arc. Expect new things for next time and a Halloween pic!
