Space Case... | |

With humidity spiking to the point where working on the strip meant risking things going bad quickly, I turned to my trusty Tablet PC Thingie and started digitally inking yet another new pic. I had a few from last year's Drawlloween that I wanted to give the ol' "Spending more than an hour or two total on the image" treatment to.
So here it is... my little alien pic. There were some anatomy things that bugged me so I posed up a little 3D model like I did for the 'Saltwater Girlfriend' pic. Turns out I got her legs in the reverse positions. Same with her feet. I know I dropped some heavy pencils on the wrong lines but, when I modeled it, it showed I was Extra Wrong and damn near broke her ankles to get her feet into those positions. Needless to say that was fixed, too.
I still have some inks to do on it but I want to show it off now. As always, progress pics are over on my Instagram if you're down for checking those out.
She's just a girl waiting in orbit for things to be better planet side. -> [Art LinkTastic!]
Now I'm off to start the inks for the next strip. There's only two strips left in this story bit before I do the smart thing and take time away from regular posting to build the buffer again. I also want to take some time to do the artwork justice as there's going to be some outdoor shots of actual real world locations and I'd like them to sorta' look right just in case the locals call me out on it. = )
That's all from me for now.

'Till next time! = )
